This is a great product.  Enjoy making your own healthy soda's and flavored carbonated water every day for yourself and your children.  These homemade soda's taste good and we make them with healthier ingredients which are not loaded with sugar and corn syrup. 

This product works and is worth every penny. We were always telling our son "no - to soda" (you know kids - they love soda and will ask often just in case you say yes).  Now we make grape soda for them with natural grape juice or something like a sprite with natural lemonade. Our 6 year old has learned to think of seltzer water as a treat and often ask for "fizz water" (add a couple of tablespoons of lemonade to his glass and he's a happy kid.  Experiment with different juices to find flavors you like best.  We mix about 1/4-1/3 natural juice to 2/3-3/4 carbonated water for a much healthier good tasting soda. 

You will save money in the long run (pennies per glass) working out to be much less expensive than buying soda's in the store and there are no electrical/mechanical parts to break. Occasionally, you will need to replace the CO2 bottle which is a minimal cost.  We ordered an extra CO2 bottle so we are never without our Soda Maker while waiting for a recharged bottle.  We've had our Soda Maker for several months and are still on the origninal CO2 bottle. 

Though, we prefer to use natrual fruit juices, you can order soda syrups in about 25 traditional and unique flavors from Soda Stream.   Sodastream's Regular Soda Mix flavors contain less sugar, calories, carbohydrates and sodium than national drink brands.  Diet Soda Mix flavors contain no sugar, no aspartame and are sweetened with Splenda® brand sweetener. Sodastream offers 12 traditional and unique diet flavors. 

It is worth it to put something healthier into yourself and children.  If your trying to cut down on Soda's for health reasons - Check it out!  You can still have your soda's minus the unhealthy ingredients which is the real problem.
